Hey fellas! And, as i just noticed, the preset for Andys C4 setting was posted here already, but the link is dead. Would anyone be so kind and post them or send them to my email? Rock on!!! AdamG94 Member. Thanks a bunch for necrobumping this thread! MindMunch Member. And some others i have here.. Ill post a set of samples up of a project I just recorded 2 weeks ago. Kit sounds amazing!!! Nice one John! Ill grab em and bring em home to upload in a day or so, Im not back at the studio till tomorrowish Be patient compadres.
The snare files are not cut because I haven't used them so far. Hope you enjoy! Oh and Moonlapse, please share your "go-to snare". I'd really like to hear it! Great stuff guys. But unfortunately not that snare sound. Thanks though. Its very tight and has tons of crack. Definitely not all purpose snare like many of the snares in the collection there is 25 snares now but pretty damn nice in some high energy rock and metal.
Either way, come and get it! Yeah I can see that working for metal and hard rock or something NIN'ish. But not for the wussy music I record. It would be really great to see a Steve Slate library in the future that lent itself towards more quieter, "laid back" arrangements.
Less aggressive hits overall, maybe even incorporating ghost hits and drags into the. GOG files Oh well. Serve us up the juiciest steak we've ever tasted and we'll ask for chicken, huh? I'm asking for tofurkey. Keep up the good work, can't wait for the cymbals in 2. Also, I forget at this point since the idea was asked about so many times all ready The possibilities You guys keep outdoing yourselves.
Or you can use a free service like YouSendIt. I'd love to hear what you got either for toms or kicks with DKFH. I've only played around with DKFH2, but it sounded way to natural and I haven't really learned the art of processing for that metal sound. Okay, I'll look into that. I've got. Also the DW kick with just a few hits with a little processing that I made for something specific.
I think the unprocessed stuff is more useful, cause you could use it for more. If you're looking for something specific, I could probably make something up. Otherwise, I'll get back to you with some files tomorrow or Monday.
I'm at work now. I appreciate it, and feel free to take your time. I'm glad you are willing to post some gogs up. Drumagog just put up a forum for this same thing. I think what I'm looking for is sounds similar to the drums either on Lamb of God's "Ashes of the Wake" really punchy, but lots of attack, especially the toms or that explosive sound on Trivium's "Assendancy". Pretty much anything within this genre of drum sounds would do, but those are some of my favorite sounds.
But I'm not picky, what ever you are willing to share is more than enough. Thanks again. Sonixx New member. Metalhead, not meaning to butt in on your thread, but here's some more samples that are pretty good. These used to be called Tom Hicks samples, but now they're on Artist Collaboration.
